Prisoner’s Chain
Description
Stories of distillation usually begin with illicit stills and avoiding the taxman. In every era, from the Scottish highlands and prohibition in America all the way to Governor Franklin in Tasmania, the industry was plagued with lawbreakers. Thankfully, early distillers avoided the prisoner’s chain, and now the makers and drinkers of today profit from their crime. A whisky to appreciate while being thankful one is free.
