Description
For convicted criminals in the United Kingdom, transportation to Tasmania was often the only alternative to the gallows. Whether it was murder or stealing bread, the decision to voyage by sea to Van Diemen’s Land was made for them. Now Tasmania is a destination of choice, not made with consideration of the hangman’s noose. An intense whisky representing the pride in what Tasmania is today.
