Hunter’s Keep
Description
Hunter Street wharf in Hobart was often the first dry land that newcomers would stand upon after months at sea, and was also the most important point of defence for the city of Hobart. Set apart from the rest of the waterfront, the port was guarded as much against the locals, as it was potential attackers. A whisky for which the port is as influential as the port at Hunter Street.
