Gunner’s Cannon
Description
One cannot visit Scotland without seeing the vast network of castles that dot the landscape, adorned with the cannons that defended the North from all manner of invaders. Tasmania may not have the castles, but cannons played an important role in its defence and shot towers in Hobart are almost as iconic as the famous distillery pagodas, and inspiring the name of the famous Battery Point. A whisky that hits the palate like a cannonball.
